LPW delivering See Hear Respond Programme

6th August 2020

See Hear Respond
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Barnardo’s, in partnership with The Department for Education (DfE), will be delivering a new and innovative programme across England that targets the most vulnerable children and young people who are hidden from view; who are not receiving support currently from statutory organisations and those who are at risk and/or experiencing adverse impact to their health and wellbeing.

LPW are one of Barnardo’s See Hear Respond delivery partners.  Through a partnership approach we will support vulnerable children and young people that are being missed and safeguard these children early, preventing additional harm and ensuring that their needs don’t escalate to become chronic and persistent levels.

The Programme
Through a network of national and local community-based partners the See Hear Respond Programme will deliver a three strand model across England that will respond to children who are experiencing harm and increased adversity at a time where services are required to shape their response and approach to addressing new emerging need. LPW will deliver the following as part of this programme in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
