LPW Independent School
Our model of small urban village schools aims to respond to the needs, interests and aspirations of the young people who attend. The small learning centres of up to 20 young people allow us to provide tailored learning programmes that take into account their personal history and their prior academic attainment.
Our organisation allows our staff to have significant time each week so as to be able to think about young people, talk about young people, plan personalised programmes for young people and to have access to professional supervision on behalf of young people.
We want our staff to have the time to focus on the complexity of the young people they are teaching and the complexity of the ideas, knowledge, skills and understandings we want them to engage with.
