We understand that, for a variety of reasons, engaging in school can be a challenge for some children and young people.

Through relentless care and personalised approaches we can be there at any stage to help children and young people to overcome their barriers to engagement and education. Each of our packages are designed to build children and young people’s resilience, improve school attendance, support progress and attainment. We know that learning is a relational activity and therefore offer personalised interventions with an attachment theory approach.

School Reengagement Support Packages:

  • Early intervention
  • Revolving door
  • Specialist support

Alternative Provision:

LPW Independent School is a full-time alternative education provider for young people for whom mainstream education has not worked. We focus on children and young people’s personal and social development and re-engage them with education, ensuring they gain qualifications and move forward into further education, training or employment.

Community Engagement and Outreach

All our support and intervention around education has an intrinsic link to the communities that schools exist within. While we provide personalised support for children and young people to support educational attendance and attainment, we also have strong links with the communities that children and young people live.

We provide specialised after school and holiday engagement activities that are centred on Play Theory and Youth Work Models, both of which support the emotional and personal development of children and young people.
