Research and data
The effective usage of data and research underpins all of the activities which SCS undertakes. We do not produce our own data but rely on other organisations, such as the Young People’s Learning Agency (YPLA) and National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), to provide us with the data we need in order to effectively execute our commissioning role and other functions. Our role focuses on the analysis of the data provided and the translation of this into priorities and plans for commissioning.
This section of the SCS website will collate a range of analyses conducted by SCS and other partners which have been used to inform commissioning decisions.
