The results of our recent survey of 175 young people, to find out how they viewed the Connexions service in the West of England, highlighted the following:

95% felt that they were able to raise the issues they needed to.

·         96% said they received the help they needed.

·         92% said the session helped them to be able to take the next steps needed.

·         98% said that they would come to Connexions West again for help.

The survey also asked young people to identify the main things that they discussed with their personal adviser:

·         61% discussed going to college,

·         47% discussed finding a job,

·         38% discussed Apprenticeships,

·         34% discussed options choices.

In addition to the positive scores received above, young people were given the chance to add their own comments which included:

·         Everything was good - I love Connexions!

·         I have a great PA.  She is the first person I contact when I need advice.  She helped me get into college even when I thought it was too late.

·         My PA has been massively helpful.

·         My autism stops me from understanding things, I need to talk to my PA again about what will happen at college as it is scary.

·         Really helped with A-level choices and going to university.

·         I have found Connexions staff very supportive and helpful.

·         My PA is amazing!

These results demonstrate that whatever is being said nationally a good and valued range of services are being offered by Connexions West.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed.
